ANIMAL GAMBILL’S
CRITTER CRUSADE BOOK EVENTS
Author Visits
Animal Gambill
offers 4 interactive educational programs for children between the ages
of 5 and 18. These programs range from 45-minute sessions to
day-long programs. You may choose to have Animal Gambill read her
children's book and talk about the importance of respecting animals
through kind, safe and responsible interactions and/or you may choose to
have Animal Gambill talk about the writing process and
issues/professions related to the publishing industry.
Children will be
entertained by Animal Gambill’s enthusiastic style while being actively
engaged in educational discussions. If you like, your children will also get the opportunity to meet one of the
real-life critter characters in her book (her dog, Riley, and her cat,
Hobo Kitty).
NOTE: Riley has received his Canine Good Citizen Certification and
has demonstrated safe interactions with children during numerous
presentations at schools, libraries and
festivals. It is up to the discretion of the host as to whether the
children are approved to pet Riley or Hobo Kitty one-at-a-time after the
book event. If inclement weather (i.e., a storm, thunder, etc.) is a concern on the day of the event,
or if Riley's handler is unavailable on the date chosen, Riley will
not be able to attend. If this occurs, Hobo Kitty will attend in
Riley's place.

Prices are included in the
PDF brochure and
range from $225.00 for a 45-minute session to $600.00 for an all-day
session. A discount is available for back-to-back/same- day
sessions.
Travel Expenses: 45
cents per mile (round trip) for automobile/gasoline expenses
Hotel Expenses may
be necessary if over 150 miles from Louisville, Ky.

a school or library located near you.

you secure the date of an author visit/presentation, please download the
Author
Visit Contract and
either:
A.) return it to Animal Gambill at P.O. Box 17124
Louisville, Kentucky 40217
or
B.) download the
Author Visit Contract
and email it to
ag@animalgambill.org
Cancellations and/or rescheduling of presentations require a 4 week
advance notice in order to make appropriate adjustments to author’s
schedule.
